There's many ways of relating to the universe...
The Cosmologist typically believes that the truth of the Cosmos lies in mathematical equations, cosmological constants, physical laws.
This is the Mechanistic View.
The mechanical dance of math equations as the ultimate truth of it all is however not good enough for mystics, for example John Lennon...such people prefer to view it all as an endless, living, magical phenomenon in which anything is possible and nothing is constrained at any point by any mathematical or 'rational' boundaries.
Exactly that. Anything is possible.

True Mysticism is about acknowledging the permanent existence of mystery, and not about looking for ways to reduce uncertainty about the environment through mathematics.
Letting go of fear about the future and uncertainty requires a good amount of faith.
In the following poem by John Lennon, he's talking about being seamlessly integrated into the infinite environment. Mentally and Physically. A sign of deep faith in life.
Words Are Flying Out Like
Endless Rain Into A Paper Cup
They Slither While They Pass
They Slip Away Across The Universe
Pools of Sorrow Waves Of Joy
Are Drifting Through My Opened Mind
Possessing And Caressing Me
Jai Guru Deva Om
Images Of Broken Light Which
Dance Before Me Like A Million Eyes
That Call Me On And On Across The Universe
Thoughts Meander Like A
Restless Wind Inside a Letter Box
They Tumble Blindly As
They Make Their Way Across The Universe
Jai Guru Deva Om
Sounds Of Laughter Shades Of Life
Are Ringing Through My Opened Ears
Exciting And Inviting Me
Limitless Undying Love Which
Shines Around Me Like A Million Suns
It Calls Me On And On
Across The Universe
Jai Guru Deva Om
Jai Guru Deva
Jai Guru Deva
From the movie "Across the Universe"...
